Your Future Team
You will join the Atlassian Champion Programs team, part of the Community & Learning organisation. We manage programs for our top community ambassadors and advocates, helping them champion Atlassian products.
As the Champion Programs Marketing Intern, you’ll focus on our APAC Champions program. You will work with regional marketing, sales, customer success, community managers, operations, and analytics partners to:
Understand how Champions currently engage with Atlassian
Identify high‑potential markets and segments
Run experiments to grow Champion impact on product adoption and advocacy
Help refine our value proposition and messaging
Turn your learnings into a simple playbook others can reuse

Responsibilities
During your internship, you will:
Learn the foundations of community‑led and customer marketing
Engage with Champions in an inclusive, helpful way (online and sometimes in‑person)
Support new Champion onboarding and community events
Analyze Champion engagement across APAC to find gaps and opportunities
Help design and prioritize growth and engagement experiments
Refine Champion value propositions and messaging for key markets
Support pilot campaigns (e.g., stories, referrals, events) and document what works
Help build a clear APAC Champions playbook with best practices and reusable assets
Contribute to simple dashboards/trackers to measure growth and engagement
Collaborate with marketing, sales, success, community, operations, and analytics teams
Take part in Atlassian‑wide and intern‑specific events and activities
Minimum Qualifications
Able to commit to a 12‑week, full‑time internship between November 2026 – February 2027.
Currently enrolled full‑time in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree and returning to study after the internship, graduating by January 2028.
Interest in marketing and community‑led growth.
Strong research and analytical skills (comfortable with both qualitative and quantitative data).
Good organisation and problem‑solving skills – can break work into steps and follow through.
Clear written and verbal communication.
Enjoy working with cross‑functional partners (marketing, sales, success, community, operations).
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with marketing, community, or customer‑facing work (coursework, clubs, internships, or volunteering).
Comfortable using metrics and spreadsheets or simple dashboards.
Experience running or contributing to experiments (e.g., pilots, A/B tests, campaigns).
Interest or experience in customer storytelling or advocacy (events, content, or case studies).
Comfortable making progress amid ambiguity and change.
