As a Senior Principal Business Value Advisor in Atlassian’s Value Management Office (VMO), you will lead strategic value engagements that shape the direction of Atlassian’s most critical customer relationships.
You will set the benchmark for value management craft, drive innovation at scale, and act as a thought leader and trusted advisor to senior executives—both within Atlassian and across our customer base.
Your influence will extend across teams, functions, and geographies, ensuring that Atlassian’s value proposition is clearly articulated in the most complex and high-stakes environments.
What you’ll do:
Develop deep customer insights and strong executive relationships to drive transformative initiatives, while coaching others on executive engagement and customer-centric best practices.
Expertly analyze complex financial data and craft innovative business cases to drive strategic decisions and enhance team analytical capabilities.
Integrate diverse perspectives to create innovative, holistic solutions and guide teams in uncovering root causes and strategic opportunities within customer organizations.
Create and deliver impactful executive presentations and value narratives that distill complex information, guide decision-making, and foster alignment among senior leaders.
Provide expert guidance on VMO strategy and foster a culture of innovation to establish the organization as a leader in Value Management.
Build strong relationships and partnerships across Atlassian while serving as a senior trusted advisor to both customer CxOs and Atlassian leaders to drive key business objectives and customer success.
Develop and present thought leadership on Atlassian solutions, support field teams in value-based selling, and mentor junior team members to foster a collaborative, learning-focused culture.
Your background:
Extensive experience in value management, consulting, or a related field, with a proven track record of leading complex cross-functional engagements across a broad range of customer industries.
Mastery in financial modelling, business case development, and value articulation at the customer executive level.
Exceptional communication, executive storytelling, presentation and stakeholder management skills.
Demonstrated ability to drive innovation, influence senior leaders, and foster collaboration in complex environments.
Recognized as a thought leader and mentor, with a commitment to knowledge sharing and driving operational excellence.
Fluent English skills and additional French, German, Dutch or Spanish language skills are required
Travel up to 30-40% will be required for this role. Expect customer-facing travel for onsite customer meetings within your territory, as customer demand for in-person meetings grows.
