Overview

As a Senior Finance Manager for Channel and Marketplace business, you will primarily support our Channel Sales and Marketplace leaders in providing insights to support the growth and operations for their businesses. You will also work closely with the broader finance, pricing, analytics and data infrastructure teams. This is a highly visible role in the organization with close partnership with senior business leaders across the company, ideally suited if you are passionate about developing an intimate understanding of our business, have a strong financial and analytical background, and are keen to drive growth and operational improvements as a strategic finance partner.

You will be joining the Marketplace Topline team within the FP&A Top-line function. This team is dedicated to providing financial insights and supporting data-driven decision-making, collaborating closely with cross-functional stakeholders to shape strategic initiatives and drive sustainable growth.

Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end process of forecasting and reporting of our Channel Sales and Marketplace performance, and provide insights to our business leaders for decision making.

  • Play a key role in optimizing the infrastructure of financial planning by building and operationalizing a world-class financial analysis and forecasting frameworks for our Channel Sales and Marketplace businesses.

  • Drive process improvement of financial planning to optimize effectiveness of collaboration and communication between FP&A and Go-to-Market teams.

  • Streamline financial models and metrics, develop clarification of ownership on business growth, and support company goal setting & tracking practices in Channel Sales and Marketplace businesses.

  • Get exposure to broad revenue-related projects in the Finance team in relations to supporting our overall Enterprise growth.

Qualifications

  • SaaS / subscription revenue modeling experience

  • 7+ years of experience in a financial role in tech, consulting, or investment banking

  • Extensive experience with both bookings/revenue forecasting and managing/tracking business metrics.

  • Hands-on and strong financial modeling skills in Excel

  • Aptitude to identify issues/areas of improvement followed by financial and data analysis

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to explain financial data to non-finance partners

  • Ability to draw upon insights and tell a compelling story involving business metrics to help influence key decisions

  • Strong critical thinking, organizational, interpersonal, communication and cross functional collaboration skills

It's great, but not required, if you have

  • Exposure to working with planning tools (e.g., Anaplan)

  • Knowledge of BI tools and technologies (e.g. Tableau)

  • Technology or Software / SaaS industry experience

  • SQL skills and understanding of database / data warehousing concepts

  • Hold a degree in Business, Economics or Finance

Compensation

At Atlassian, we strive to design equitable, explainable, and competitive compensation programs. To support this goal, the baseline of our range is higher than that of the typical market range, but in turn we expect to hire most candidates near this baseline. Base pay within the range is ultimately determined by a candidate's skills, expertise, or experience. In the United States, we have three geographic pay zones. For this role, our current base pay ranges for new hires in each zone are:

Zone A: $164,700 - $215,025

Zone B: $148,500 - $193,875

Zone C: $136,800 - $178,600

This role may also be eligible for benefits, bonuses, commissions, and equity.
